Home for the holidays

I have been away a while. Mostly it was recover from the holidays. Here is where I should enter a family joke, but the truth is, no joke… it was my family.

Not the in-laws or folks, just us. Lillian has been trying to get over being sick going on for over a month now. She has a cold that never seems to go away fully. She missed Christmas because she was so sick and got another cold on her birthday just a few days ago. That poor girls has Daddy disease. I was the same way growing up, always seemed to be sick on special occasions.

Things are looking up though. Lilly is doing better and we have a party for her Sunday for her Birthday. Should be a good time.
