This FUZZ is HOT

So last night Erin and I treated ourselves to a DVD from Best Buy. We picked up Hot Fuzz made by the same guys who made Shaun of the Dead.

This movie was great with a good mix of humor, violence, and action. They play off several cliches of action/cop movies without is being a direct spoof, and the various actors are well rounded making it funny and serious at the same time.

It even has old friend Timothy Dalton (Former James Bond) it what I think is a just plain funny role.

I highly suggest it.

A lot of Heart

Friday Denise underwent a 7 hour surgery to repair a defective heart valve. Unfortunately the surgeons were not able to repair the valve so they instead replaced it with the valve of a cows heart.

Denise did very well and was moved into ICU Friday evening, and later moved to a private room on Sunday after removing the various tubes etc from her. The first few days of recovery sucked for her, but she is doing well and sounds good. Mostly she is just dog bored so I am going to try and get her a care package later this week.
